2007 Pet-A-Day
Animal Rescue Fund Raising Calendars

To All Who Put Their Velvet Ears Together for the 2007 Calendar Project:

I must say, I was in a panic last night because I screwed up when I saw I
had two "info entered" entries on my October 11th calendar date.  I immediately emailed my October calendar volunteers and within minutes the problem was taken care of.

I have to hand it to you guys, you are doing a spectacular job, taking on such a task, and I know I Aaaaarrrooooh, for so many, when I say how much we appreciate all of you doing this for us, so we can end up with the ultimate finished product, our "basset children" in print, and money for the cause !!!  We love all of you. - Rudy Patoodie's mom slave, Susan

Kudos to Ellie and her team of volunteers and of course to Cecil Graphics~ you've knocked out the glitches and I can hardly wait to see the 2007 edition of the calendar!
Hey what other habit could you support for less than a dime a day??? For those you did not get a day in the calendar~ do buy one anyhow. They are wonderful for yourself and make great gifts...vets, mailman, the folks who love your bassets.
Now I just have to get that picture... - Angelika Hastings

I just submitted my photo, caption etc for the Drool calender. It's incredibly easy. I'm assuming all went well on the other end but this was way toooo simple. Thank you Ellie and all the folks at Cecil Graphics. I can't wait to order some more! FYI-I did it via my MacIntosh. - Sue, Milo & Tracker

I got my first Drool calendar last year and I would like to share how much it means to me.

I keep one copy of the calendar at work. My partner & I start our day by looking at the daily pic and wondering all sorts of crazy things about the bassets and humans invovled. If appropriate we then tease Elvis & Georgia about the goings on of other bassets.
Throughout the day and people come and go most of them stop by to admire the daily basset. Several people are planning on rescuing a basset when they get their
next dog. HOORAY FOR RESCUES!
My brother lives about 2000 miles away and I send him a calendar. He has more willpower than I do and rewards himself at the end of each work day by seeing what the bassets are up to.
He had a basset, Cleo, while growing up who he reluctantly shared with me.
He & his wife also had a basset, Nancy, whose claim to fame was sampling the wedding cake at their reception. Nancy went to the Bridge about 10 years ago and I hope that he will one day rescue another houndie.

Our communication is basically limited to emails - but now we call about a basset that brings back wonderful memories for us.

The calendar has definite enriched my life. As far as I'm concerned it would be cheap at twice the price. So thank you Ellie, all Cecil Graphics employees and all the people who took the time to submit such beautiful pics for me to enjoy every day of the year.

I know that Ellie has just begun the Herculean task of coordinating the production of our
Calendar. But I just wanted to pass along that I was very, very impressed by the changes to the website and ordering process itself.
This morning I selected my date, ordered the calendar, and paid for it. The process was incredibly fast and completely seamless! There were no lingering questions, confusion, etc.
It was obvious that last year's learning process did not go to waste!

I just want to thank everyone who works so hard to get the Daily Drool Calendar printed. I know that it involves a lot of time and effort. I want you to know that I really do appreciate your work. I get a smile every day from it. THANKS! - Claudia, Mom to Jacob, Winston, Jessie the Bloodhound & Bubba the Barn Cat

Dear Ellie,

I just want to say thank you for all the hard work you did/are doing on the DD calendar. I did not get one last year and was not really aware of all the difficulty people were describing, but I did get one this year. And I even got the date I wanted. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, it was the easiest and simplest process I have ever encountered with regard to digital photos and web, etc.!!
Not sure why people struggle, but I suppose they just don’t read the instructions--which are extremely thorough and again, simple.
You are doing an outstanding job and I thank you for that and for your undertaking of such a HUGE task. People in this world love to complain in disproportionate amounts compared to those who send kudos. Here’s toward tipping the scale in the other direction. THANK YOU.
